The Monmouth Museum NJ Emerging Artists Series is an ongoing program for artists in all mediums who are residents of NJ, who have never had a one-person show. The Nilson Gallery in the Monmouth Museum provides a unique and exciting opportunity for New Jersey artists to showcase their work. A very successful series of six exhibitions was held during Summer and Fall of 2007 and will continue into 2008. The artists selected for this Series represent the diversity of talent in the State and demonstrates their creativity in a wide variety of media. Gallery talks scheduled during the exhibitions offer artists the opportunity to share insights on their work.

The New Jersey Emerging Artists Series at the Monmouth Museum is supported by the Geraldina R. Dodge Foundation.

08-09 EMERGING ARTISTS SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT
Our second annual New Jersey Emerging Artists Series continues in the Nilson Gallery this Spring and Summer. This series gives us a chance to celebrate the breadth of talent that exists within the State. Six artists working in a variety of media were recently selected by a panel of jurors for our next series of one-person exhibitions during Summer 2008 and Spring 2009:

2008-09 CALL FOR ENTRIES
We are planning now for the Fall 2008 through Spring 2009 NJ Emerging Artists Series. The exhibitions are open to any artist,18 or older, currently living in New Jersey, who has not been featured in a one-person exhibition in the State. A panel of jurors will select six artists. Work will be considered in all media, sculpture must be wall-mounted, must be original creations by the artist, and produced within the last five years. Artists On-line Workshop

The Monmouth Museum and the Monmouth County Arts Council are offering this Artists On-line Workshop to assist artists who are submitting their work to one of our juried shows.
