In The News The Monmouth Museum received a donation from The Churchin Group. LLC
A record-breaking $16,000 total funds were raised, with $8000 also donated to the Mercy Center and the Sisters Academy of Asbury Park. The Curchin Group’s professionals lovingly toiled over each of the “holes” that made up the tournament’s 9-Hole course, spread throughout their offices. The Museum also created an outer space-themed hole reflecting their current BLAST OFF! A Space Journey exhibition in the Becker Children’s Wing. Golfers were challenged to putt on a moonscape complete with a meteorite, “aliens” and an astronaut to observe the action! Players donated their fees of $20.00 per person, which included one round of golf, food and beverages. The event was sponsored by over 40 businesses and individuals. Robert Fouratt, CPA with The Curchin Group, stated “This was the fourth year we have done this and it keeps getting better and better. The staff continue to get excited about the event each year and the fact that we raised the most money this year has everyone extremely proud of their efforts.” The Museum will use this gift to support their educational programs. These programs enrich arts and cultural opportunities for people of all ages in the community and the Museum would like to express their thanks to the The Curchin Group for their generous support.
