Please note: The Becker Children’s Wing will be closed through the end of February while we address a few concerns that need immediate attention to ensure the safety of our visitors and members. It wasn’t planned, but we are going to use this opportunity to make the space better for all!

Welcome to the Monmouth Museum

The Monmouth Museum, founded in 1963 as a Museum of Ideas, presents changing exhibitions in art, history and science to educate and entertain while providing a destination for creative expression and life-long learning to the diverse community it serves.

An independent, non-profit organization, the Monmouth Museum is entirely supported by individuals, foundations, corporate, county and state grants, income from special events, membership dues and admissions.

Changing exhibitions featured in the Museum’s Main Gallery and the Nilson Gallery present a wide variety of art in all media. Children will have exciting learning experiences in our popular Dorothy V. Morehouse WonderWing and Becker Children’s Wing.

The Monmouth Museum is committed to ensuring that all its programs and services are accessible to all. The Becker Children’s Wing is designed as a comfortable, hands-on learning environment for children ages 7 to 12 years and their families.
