An Update: Reopening the Monmouth Museum & Membership
The Monmouth Museum is taking steps to ensure that we reopen with the safety of our guests and staff as our priority. We also recognize that many of you hold active memberships. The Museum will extend all active memberships by a six month period. Any memberships that were scheduled to expire in March – June will also receive that extension. Please look at your membership card for your expiration dates and know that once we reopen, it will be honored six months past that date. We are excited to see everyone again soon. Below are some updates regarding reopening:
Currently, the Museum’s Main and Nilson Galleries are open by appointment only on weekdays. To make an appointment or for more information, please email Catherine Esposito at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have taken many precautions to keep our staff and visitors safe. Masks are required for all visitors. We do not allow masks with valves as they do not filter the air you exhale. We ask everyone to follow social distancing measures and refrain from visiting if you have had any exposure to COVID or if you have recently traveled.
Additionally, in an effort to keep our visitors and staff as safe as possible, the Museum has installed an iWave air purifier in our facility’s HVAC system. The purifier emits ions at a level that will properly kill viruses, bacteria and mold, and other pathogens, neutralizing most airborne particles of the flu and COVID-19.
At this time, our children’s wings remain closed.
