Writing Workshop Description:
JFK. LBJ. Cold War. Vietnam. Minskirts. “I Have a Dream.” The Moon Landing. Woodstock. Explore the impact the Sixties have had on you personally. Join us for a “psychadelic” afternoon of lively discussions, writing invitations and storytelling at the Monmouth Museum. We’ll use the museum’s exhibition “Woodstock at 50: Summer of Love,” Elliott Landy’s original photographs of the Woodstock Festival, and selected readings as springboards for stories of our own. Here’s your chance to bring pivotal moments–from your life–to life on the page and share those stories with others. Whether you lived through the Sixties in body, mind or spirit,
come be part of the story!
