I am an American artist whose life began on the other side of the world. Born and raised in the Ukraine, I graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev, before immigrating to the United States and settling in New Jersey in 2010. These multi-cultural experiences have offered me the ability to convey a unique perspective to the classical realistic style found within my artwork.

In this series of colored pencil, pen and graphite drawings, I am presenting my NJ Emerging Artist Series solo exhibition entitled, Life as I See It. My goal is to offer classical realistic representations of all aspects of life including, portraits, daily scenes, iconic and little known destinations, as well as architectural interiors and exteriors. While the subject matter may appear wide at first impression, all my drawings are tied to my passionate desire to capture and express the world around me in a highly detailed and realistic fashion. This body of work is simultaneously uniquely my own but also familiar in the eyes of the viewer. The atmosphere and mood of the work are the most important elements for me and with each piece I am trying to convey the feeling of that moment.
