GETTING HERE
DIRECTIONS
The Monmouth Museum is located at
765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738
on the Brookdale Community College campus,
parking lot #1, off Museum Drive.
The Museum can be reached from the Garden State Parkway exit 109. Travel west on Newman Springs Road (Rt. 520) to the Brookdale entrance on the left. Enter and make the first right turn onto Museum Drive. Follow signs to parking lot #1. The Museum sits deep in the property, on the edge of the wooded area.
As alternates, both Highways 34 and 35 intersect Newman Springs Road (Rte. 520).
To reach the Museum from western Monmouth County, take Highway 33 to Route 537 North. Take Route 537 North to Highway 34. Make a left onto Highway 34. Travel approximately 1 mile and make right onto Phalanx Road and go approximately 4 miles. The entrance to Brookdale will be on the left. Follow signs to parking lot #1 off Museum Drive.
On campus hint: On the North end of campus (the Newman Springs Road entrance) the Museum is very close to the (CVA) Center for the Visual Arts, near the (PAC) Performing Arts Center and Larrison Hall buildings. The Gymnasium is on the South end of campus (the Phalanx Road entrance). Follow signs to parking lot #1 off Museum Drive.
Group transportation is separately available through a third party recommended vendor "CharterUP", offering services in and around New York City and Philadelphia.
REGIONALLY ACCESSIBLE
The Monmouth Museum is located in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township. Situated in the eastern-central section of NJ along its northern Atlantic coastline, the Museum is between two major metropolitan areas – New York City, 45 miles to the north and Philadelphia, 70 miles to the west. The region can be easily reached by rail and major highways including the Garden State Parkway along the Eastern Shore and Interstate 195, which connects the New Jersey Turnpike to the coast.

New Jersey Transit trains serve routes from New Jersey to New York. The NJ Transit North Jersey Coast train runs directly from Penn Station in New York City including a stop at Newark Airport to Red Bank, where you can transfer for NJ Transit bus No. 832 or 838 to the Museum on Brookdale’s Lincroft campus.
